Clementina
De Nules (Citrus reticulata / citrange carrizo)
This variety of clementine is considered to be one of the
best clementines for sweetness and flavour. Clementines are
generally more densely foliated than some other varieties,
with long pointed leaves. The tree is vigorous but is ideal
for those with limited space as it can be maintained as a
small bush but still bear many fruit. The seedless and juicy
fruits can be harvested after November.

Clementina
Hernandina (Citrus reticulata / citrange carrizo)
This variety is vigorous with sweet juicy fruit. Harvest is
late, generally February or March. The colour of the fruit
will not always develop, but the fruit will be more mature
than the colour would indicate. The fruit will shrink ands
deteriorate if left on the tree too long.

Clementina
Arrufatina (Citrus reticulata / citrange carrizo)
This Clementine tree is vigorous and may have thorns in the
early years which disappear with maturity. It is productive
producing seedless clementine fruit of relatively good quality.
The fruit should be harvested as soon as the colour starts
to develop and should not be left on the tree too long as
it will shrink and deteriorate.

Clementina
Nour (Citrus reticulata / citrange carrizo)
This variety of Citrus tree is an important Moroccan clementine.
The fruit is of good colour, better than the Hernandina
Clementine, but the rind texture is coarser. The flesh
is tender, juicy and of very good flavour. Harvest is mid
to late January. The fruit will stay on the tree in good condition
until March.

Clementina
Marisol (Citrus reticulata / citrange carrizo)
A vigorous variety of citrus tree, but thorny in the early
years. The fruit is larger than the De
Nules Clementine, but the citrus tree has a tendency to
drop its fruit after a heavy rain. The flesh of the fruit
is tender and even more juicy than the De
Nules Clementine but has slightly more acidity. Harvest
early in October.

Clementina
Orogrande (Citrus reticulata / citrange carrizo)
This variety of clementine tree is a spontaneous mutation
from the Clemenules. A vigorous
variety with similar characteristics to the Clemenules,
but considered to be of even better quality. There is very
little acidity with this fruit and this makes harvest slightly
earlier than the Clemenules, October to November. The fruit
colour is very attractive being of deep reddish orange. This
citrus tree can be kept as a small bush and will still fruit
well.

Clementina
Loretina (Citrus reticulata / citrange carrizo)
This variety is a spontaneous mutation from the Marisol.
A vigorous variety with some thorns in the early years which
disappear with maturity. It has proved to be a very reliable
fruiting citrus tree with a good flavoured, highly coloured,
attractive fruit, the skin of which loosens slightly just
prior to ripening, making it easy to peel. Harvest is two
weeks before the Marisol Clementine.
